Method:
Step 1: Prepare the mesh and flashing strips. The mesh and flashing strips should be at least 5cm larger in dimensions than the actual mesh fabric. The flashing strips should also be at least 30cm longer than the circumference of the slot.
Step 2: Remove the old window frame and damaged screen, and directly pull out the frame. If the frame is not damaged, no need to purchase a new one.
Step 3: First, use the sealant cord to secure the short ends of the screen mesh. Two people should place the mesh flat on the window frame, and then use a screwdriver to insert the sealant cord into the gap between the window frame and the mesh, securing one side first.
Step 4: Secure the window screen mesh along both long edges of the window frame. Two people should simultaneously tighten the mesh while inserting the sealant strips using a screwdriver. Be sure to tighten the mesh properly, otherwise it will become loose and sagging.
Step 5: Secure the remaining end of the sealant and remove any excess sealant and mesh, completing the mesh replacement.
