One. Clean before the first use.
Turn on all faucets (including the main water tap, the water inlet valve, and the pure water machine faucet), and flush for 15 minutes until the water is clear and free of foam. During the flushing process, frequently switch on and off the main water tap (close for 3 seconds, open for 10 seconds) to create pulsating water flow, which will improve the flushing effect. After flushing, close the drain faucet, open the pure water machine faucet, and let it run for 5 minutes before using it normally.
II. Regular cleaning in daily life
1、Rinse thoroughly
In this process, when using a tap to draw water from a water purifier, this is referred to as "backwashing." It is generally recommended to open the tap and flush the water purifier for 1-2 minutes before drawing purified water. This allows for the removal of any contaminants that may have accumulated inside the purifier, ensuring that the water purifier maintains its high flow rate and extends its lifespan.
2、Reverse washing
Conversely, the frequency of backflushing does not need to be as high; once or twice a week is sufficient, especially when the flow rate of the pure water machine is still relatively small after backflushing. Most mid- to high-end water purifiers have a backflushing button that can be directly pressed to reverse the water flow, removing debris from the filter.
3、Regular disinfection
This product, which only replaces the filter, cannot guarantee that the inner walls and water outlet pipes of the water purifier are free from secondary contamination. Therefore, water purifiers still need to be regularly disinfected, including the inner walls and water outlet pipes. Common methods include ozone sterilization, tablet cleaning, and pressurized filtration. Ozone sterilization requires specialized equipment, so it is necessary to hire qualified personnel for this process.
