One. Installation method for non-standard entry door.

1、Install the door frame

① On a smooth, clean, and level surface, drill 30-40mm deep holes into the top ends of the vertical studs using a 2.5mm drill. Securely connect the horizontal stud to the two vertical studs using 4 x 60mm screws. Ensure that the three stud faces are at the same level; the horizontal stud should be connected to the vertical studs at a 90-degree angle.

② Use wood screws to fix 6-8 pieces of fixing plates on both sides of the vertical frame. Turn the pre-assembled door frame upside down and fix it to the ground using wood screws. Also, attach "locking foot strips" and "corner strips" to one side of the vertical frame.

③ "Pre-assemble" the non-standard door leaf with the door frame (with the opening side facing inwards). Ensure that the gap between the door leaf and the door frame is uniform and appropriate.

2、Securely connect and fix the frame to the wall.

① Push the assembled, non-standard door frame completely into the door opening. Use a plumb bob to check if the frame is level.

② based on the holes in the fixing plate, determine the drilling points on the wall.

③ Use an electric drill with a 8-10mm diameter bit to drill holes at the marked locations. Insert wooden wedges into the holes and secure the door frame to the wall using nails.

④ Insert wooden strips into the gaps between the fixed door frame and the wall to ensure a firm and tight connection.

3、Install the door frame

① Remove and align the groove for the door, drill lock holes, and install the lock plate seat and lock tongue. During the removal and drilling operation, do not operate on the decorative surface.

② Comprehensive Installation. The center-to-center distance between the hinges of the door leaf and the door frame is 300mm. Before using nails, create a pilot hole and then drive and tighten the nails. First, tighten one screw on each hinge, then close the door and check for any gaps. Ensure that the door frame and door leaf are on the same plane, and that the door leaf does not drop. once verified, tighten the remaining screws. It is strictly prohibited to directly "hammer" the nails into the door leaf and door frame.

③ Install the door lock. The lock position should be 920mm from the bottom of the door leaf; after installing the door lock, thoroughly check the flexibility of the door leaf and lock switch for non-standard doors, and ensure that the gap is appropriate.

II. important considerations for installing non-standard copper doors.

1、The installation of non-standard copper doors should be carried out according to the designed type, using the appropriate installation method.

2、For non-standard doors, the door frame can be fixed to the wall using expansion bolts, or iron pieces can be pre-embedded in the opening during wall construction, and then welded to the door frame connection components upon installation.

3、Regardless of the connection method used between the door frame and the wall, there should be at least 3 anchor points on each side, and they must be securely fastened.

4. When installing non-standard doors, first ensure that they are plumb and level, and that the dimensions are correct. Then, temporarily fix them in place and make any necessary adjustments. once the installation is correct, you can proceed with connecting and anchoring.

5. Ensure that sliding doors operate smoothly after installation. Sliding doors should open and close easily and securely.

6. Anti-theft devices should be installed between the door frame and door leaf, or in other areas where necessary.

7. All non-standard doors must have complete hardware, including handles, locks, and observation holes. Multi-functional non-standard doors must have complete and effective systems for features such as combination locks, electronic alarm systems, and door chimes.
