The System Door and Window is a perfect organic combination of performance systems, requiring consideration of a wide range of important functions, including water tightness, airtightness, wind resistance, mechanical strength, insulation, soundproofing, anti-theft, shading, weather resistance, and operating feel. The overall performance of the equipment, profiles, accessories, glass, adhesives, and seals must be considered, and all components are essential for forming high-performance system door and windows. Therefore, the glass must be assembled in the factory and cannot be installed directly, otherwise its airtightness cannot be guaranteed.
II. Installation method for doors and windows throughout the house
1、Dry installation (installation of steel frame)
① Install steel support frames in the rough opening. After leveling the steel support frames against the wall, fill the gap between the frame and the opening with waterproof mortar. Ensure that there is a gap of 10mm or more between the steel support frame and the opening, and then fix the frame. After fixing, apply waterproof coating on the outer side of the frame and the opening.
② After installing the steel frame, interior and exterior decoration can be carried out. The completion surface is defined by the surface of the steel frame.
③After interior and exterior decoration is complete, before attaching the door and window frames to the wall, it is essential to apply protective measures to prevent contamination or scratching of the frames. The gap between the door and window frames and the steel frame should be at least 5mm. Before permanently fixing the door and window frames to the steel frame, it is necessary to level the surface using a level. The level of the window frame can be adjusted using the frame adjustment components. once the frame is level, it can be directly connected and fixed to the steel frame.
④ After the door and window frames are fixed, the gaps between the window frame and the steel frame need to be filled. Typically, polyurethane foam is used for this purpose. Then, weather-resistant sealant should be applied to both the interior and exterior sides of the window frame to ensure a tight seal. This completes the basic wall installation of all doors and windows in the house.
2、Wet-method installation (fixing plate installation)
① Insert the window frame into the rough opening. Do not remove the protective film from either side of the window frame once it is inserted into the opening, to prevent damage to the window during subsequent construction. Use shims to adjust the gap between the window and the wall, ensuring a level surface before securing the window frame.
② After securely fixing the window frame, waterproofing treatment is required: Fill the space between the window frame and the wall with waterproof mortar, ensuring the mortar completely fills the space after the window frame is stable. Then, remove the wooden shims. Finally, apply a waterproof coating between the exterior wall and the window frame and the wall.
