II. Acceptance Specifications and Standards for Vinyl-Aluminium Composite Door and Window Systems
1、Check door and window frames.
The quality of the surface of doors and windows throughout the house directly affects the decorative effect of the entire wall after installation. The visual inspection of doors and windows includes checking for cracks, deformation, and the installation of window rubber. The following details the specific inspection procedures:
① Visual Inspection
Inspect the gloss and surface uniformity of the door and window. Then, use a ruler to measure the dimensions and check for any signs of deformation or scratches.
② Seal strip inspection
The contact between the sealing strip and the glass and the glass groove should be flush and free of any edges or gaps. The sealing strip must be fully adhered to the glass, and the joint between the sealing strip and the profile should have no visible gaps. The gap between the joints should be no more than 1mm.
2、Inspect door and window frames
The proper installation of door and window frames directly affects the overall stability of the entire door and window system. The door and window frame should be checked for its secure and level installation, as well as its airtightness.
① Check the vertical alignment of the frame.
Use a vertical measuring tool to check the verticality of the door and window frame. The allowable deviation for the verticality of the front and side surfaces of the door and window frame is 2.5mm, and the allowable deviation for the horizontal level of the door and window frame is 2mm. The allowable deviation for the elevation of the door and window frame is 5mm, and the allowable deviation for the vertical deviation from the center is 5mm.
② Conduct a thorough density check to ensure a tight connection with the wall.
Check if the joints between the door and window frames and the wall are tight. The edges of the door and window frames can be inspected using a combination of a mirror and a measuring tape.
