One, what are the different types of system door and window accessories?
1、 Hollow glass
Double-glazed glass consists of two (or three) glass panels, bonded together with a high-strength, high-airtight composite adhesive to form an aluminum alloy frame containing a desiccant. This results in an efficient, sound-insulating, and heat-insulating glass. It offers good optical properties, insulation, and anti-condensation functions.
2、Sealing strips

Sealing strips are used on system door and window components to seal the connections between: glass and glazing bead, glass and frame, frame and sash, and sash to sash. They prevent the ingress or egress of internal and external media (rain, air, dust, etc.) and prevent or reduce damage caused by mechanical vibrations and impacts. This results in sealing, soundproofing, insulation, and vibration damping properties. These are elastic, band-shaped or rod-shaped materials.
3、Window and door hardware
The system door and window hardware includes building door locks, handles, stays, hinges, and closers, etc. Good system door and window hardware should have characteristics such as easy and convenient operation, strong load-bearing capacity, good safety, and strong applicability.
II. How to clean and maintain door and window hardware
1、 Hollow glass
If oil stains and accumulated water on the hollow glass of the system doors and windows cannot be completely removed, the adhesion of the sealant to the glass will be weakened, reducing the sealing effect of the hollow glass. Therefore, for general oil stains and dust, water cleaning is usually sufficient. After cleaning, use an appropriate desiccant to absorb moisture and prevent the system doors and windows from becoming damp or foggy.
2、Sealing strips
First, clean the surface with a detergent. After cleaning, apply a high-penetration protective agent to prevent the rubber seals from aging. Additionally, sand and debris easily accumulate in the gaps between the seals, leading to corrosion. To address this, use a brush to remove the sand and debris.
3、Door and window hardware
Some hardware may develop spots over time, which is actually oxidation, not rust. Humidity, temperature, and pollution levels in the air can cause different degrees of oxidation and electrochemical corrosion on hardware. Therefore, it is necessary to clean door and window hardware to prevent dust accumulation and long-term corrosion. During the humid spring season, wiping with a cloth and maintaining dryness can reduce the damage caused by oxidation and electrochemical corrosion. It is recommended to apply a polishing agent twice a year to create a protective layer on the hardware surface, making the hardware look new. This polishing agent is easy to purchase and use.
