Two. important considerations for installing stainless steel doors and windows
1、Maintaining Level and Verticality is Crucial: Installing window and door frames is the most common method used in home renovation for window and door modifications. During window and door frame installation, first, drill and set the form on the substrate. The vertical distance between the top and bottom of the form should be less than 300 mm, and the spacing between rows should be less than 150 mm. The form must be level and vertical. If the substrate wall is not level, use shims to level the foundation first. Then, cut the large core board according to the designed window and door frame width and door opening width, and fix it to the wall and door opening with nails. The nails should be hammered onto the form.
2、Ground substrate stability: After ensuring the ground substrate is securely and safely installed, apply a fire-resistant and flame-retardant coating. This is because doors and windows are characterized by their good sealing properties, which provide fire protection and wind resistance.
3. Should not damage the appearance: The door and window trim panels should be made of high-quality plywood with aesthetically pleasing patterns and smooth surfaces. When cutting the panels, first mark the cutting lines according to the door opening and face width. Then, use a sharp cutting knife to cut out the panels. Chamfer the edges at a 45-degree angle, apply a layer of latex solution to the back, and then attach it to the substrate. Use a nail gun to drive in headless nails for added reinforcement.
4、Joints must be straight: Ensure that the joints at the door frame openings and wall interfaces are straight and form a 45-degree angle. After installing and attaching the decorative panel, use a beveled edge to seal the corners and create a 45-degree joint at the corners.
