One, Installation Construction Technical Requirements for Aluminum Framed Wooden Doors and Windows
1、Processing requirements
The contact edges of glass and aluminum-clad wood doors and windows should use triethylene glycol-propylene copolymer (TEG-TPU) strips. The frames and sashes should have appropriately sized drainage and pressure equalization holes, along with corresponding plug holes. The assembly joint at the frame and sash should be formed using jointing glue followed by mechanical processing with a jointing machine. Jointing corner brackets should be used at the corners of the door and window. Materials such as profiles, thin steel plates, hardware, sealing materials, glass, etc., should comply with relevant specifications.
2、Steel profile technical requirements

Under the condition of retaining the inherent characteristics and functions of solid wood doors and windows, the solid wood and insulating thermal break aluminum alloy profiles are combined mechanically. The main profile wall thickness of the insulating thermal break door and window material must be ≥1.4mm.
3、Installation Requirements
During installation, all exposed portions of door and window frames must be covered with protective film; the outer edges of the window frames should be flush with the structural wall; all glass should be edge-ground, the seals should fit snugly within the grooves, and the contact between the seals and the glass should be smooth and tight. Window sashes and hardware must be securely installed, and all moving parts should operate smoothly and tightly, without any wobbling or rebounding.
II. Common Issues and Solutions in the Construction of Aluminum-Framed Wood Doors and Windows
1、Window and door frame loosening
Possible causes: Excessive spacing between anchor bolts; Anchor bolts made of material that is too thin; Incorrect installation method.
Solution: The spacing between anchor bolts should not exceed 600mm. Anchor bolts must be treated for corrosion resistance. The thickness of the anchor bolts must be no less than 1.5mm, and the width must be no less than 25mm. Different anchor fixing solutions should be adopted depending on the wall material. Anchor fixing should not be used on brick walls, and expansion bolts should not be used for porous brick walls.
2、Window and door frame warping
Possible causes: The door and window frame has been deformed due to impact. Alternatively, the material used for the door and window frame is too thin, resulting in insufficient rigidity.
Solution: Repair and reinstall deformed frames; the thickness of the frame material shall comply with national standards, with the thickness of main load-bearing members not less than 1.2MM; the frame edges should be properly sealed to prevent excessive inward bending.
3、The door and window frames are not square.
Possible causes: The frame is not installed correctly, resulting in misalignment. The two diagonals of the frame are of different lengths, causing the frame to be uneven.
Solution: During installation, use wooden wedges to temporarily secure the pieces. Measure and adjust the diagonals to ensure they are equal in length, then use metal shims to firmly fix the pieces in place.
4、Metal lock hole decorative elements appear skewed, loose, or detached.
Possible causes: Improper workmanship during construction.
Solution: When installing lock hole covers, use a marble hole saw to create the opening first, followed by a 6mm impact drill to drill the hole, with a depth of 2.0 to 3.0 cm. Install a 6mm plastic expansion tube and secure it with self-tapping screws. Ensure a smooth and level surface.
