One、How to install fireproof windows
The installation steps for fire-resistant windows are: marking and positioning → opening preparation → positioning and temporary fixing of the window frame → drilling and inserting expansion plugs → fixing the window frame → injecting sealant into the window frame → processing the gap between the window frame and the wall → installing hardware → applying anti-rust paint.
II. Fire-resistant window installation precautions
1. Before installation, carefully inspect each fire-resistant glass panel for the following: accurate dimensions, complete edges and corners, scratches, wear and tear, and whether the quantity matches the contractual agreement. During inspection, do not remove the manufacturer's labels without specific instructions. Follow the fire-resistant glass installation guidelines and drawings.
2. Inspect and remove any debris or protruding objects from the window frame.
3. Install shims on the window frame. Shims can be made from materials such as rubber or wood. Cut the shims to the required size and quantity, then place the standard-width and -thickness shims on the window frame. The purpose is to provide waterproofing, airtightness, and edge protection at the corners and connection points.
4. To prevent the components in the sealant from corroding the glass before the fire-resistant glass is shipped, edge sealing agent is used for protection. Before installation, the installer must verify that the edge sealing agent is intact. If any edge sealing agent is detached, the installer must re-apply the edge sealing agent.
5、When installing fire-resistant glass, it must be installed vertically and the protective film must not be removed.
6. once the fire-resistant glass is fixed, you can install the outer frame. Ensure that the outer frame does not touch the glass and that no welding sparks or other hard objects come into contact with the glass, as this can cause irreparable damage.
7. After installation, use a non-acidic silicone sealant to fix the components.
