One, where to install aluminum alloy fireproof windows
1、Boiler rooms and transformer rooms should be located on the ground floor or lower level, along the exterior wall, and should have fire cantilevers (minimum width of 1.00m or minimum height of 1.20m for window walls) above any external safety exits or openings.
2、Doors and windows in the anteroom and between stairwells should be Class A fire doors and fireproof windows. The anteroom of the fire elevator room should be a Class A fire door or one with a stay function, and fireproof curtains can be installed. When opening doors between elevator shafts, machine rooms, and adjacent shafts and rooms, Class A fire doors and fireproof windows should be installed.
3. The horizontal distance between doors, windows, and openings adjacent to firewalls should not be less than 2.00m; when the horizontal distance is less than 2.00m, fire-resistant doors and windows of Class A should be installed.
II. Installation Specifications for Aluminum Alloy Fire-Resistant Windows
1、When the window sill wall does not meet the 0.8-meter requirement, and a solid wall is not installed, fire-resistant doors must be used to separate the spaces.
2、When two buildings do not meet the fire separation requirements, and windows are opened on the side walls adjacent to the fire wall, Class A fireproof windows are required.
3. In high-rise, unit-type residential buildings with only one escape staircase, fire escape windows must be installed.
4、Fire-resistant walls should not be constructed at the inner corners of U-shaped or L-shaped buildings. If located near a corner, the horizontal distance between the nearest edges of the walls on either side of the corner, between doors, windows, or openings, should not be less than 4.00m. If one side is equipped with fixed Class A fire-resistant windows, this distance is not required.
5. The horizontal distance between doors, windows, and openings adjacent to firewalls should not be less than 2.00m; when the horizontal distance is less than 2.00m, fire-resistant doors and windows with a Class A fire rating should be installed.
6. Fire-resistant walls should not have doors, windows, or openings. If openings are necessary, Class A fire-resistant doors and windows that can be automatically closed must be installed.
