One, how to adjust the tightness of anti-theft door.
1、Before adjusting the tightness of the anti-theft door, first adjust the direction of the latch. Failure to do so will result in the anti-theft door being unable to close properly.
2. At the location near the lock tongue, there is a small hole. Use a screwdriver to push the lock tongue outwards through this hole.
3. After disengaging the locking tongue, the tongue can be easily adjusted to the desired position.
4. After adjustment, the latch will enter the original hole, at which point you can manually press down several times to see if it can be smoothly retracted.
5. Finally, fix the entire lock assembly to the original anti-theft door. Check if the lock tongue can move freely and adjust accordingly.
Two. How to adjust a security door that doesn't close properly.
In addition to the issue of a loose latch preventing the anti-theft door from closing properly, large gaps between the door leaf and the door frame, large gaps between the door leaf and the sealing strip, and excessive gaps between the door leaf and the door sill will also cause the anti-theft door to fail to close. Below, we will explain the solutions to these three problems separately:
1、The gaps between the door and the door frame are too large.
First, use a six-millimeter Allen wrench to loosen the fixing screws on the hinges. Then, position the door as desired and use the Allen wrench to securely tighten the screws on the hinges. The problem should now be resolved.
2、The gaps between the door and the sealing strip are too large.
First, loosen the screws on the security door hinges. Then, push the door leaf towards the hinges in the hinge direction to create an angled surface (face) between the upper, middle, and lower hinges, thereby straightening the door gap and ensuring consistent alignment.
3. Excessive gaps between the door leaf and the door frame.
This is typically due to the door frame being too wide or the door slab being too small, which constitutes a quality issue with the security door. The customer should directly contact the seller's after-sales service department and request a replacement with a security door that meets quality standards.
