Non-standard door installation steps – Before installation
1. Before installing the door, inspect the door frame and door for any damage or missing components.
2. Inspect the decorative molding for straightness. If any curvature is present, it must be adjusted before installation.
3. Inspect the diagonals of the door frame, adjusting any errors to within 5mm.
4. Check that the door opening has consistent dimensions from top to bottom, and that it is parallel in all directions (left, right, up, and down).
Non-standard door installation steps – Installing the door

1. The door frame must be installed with its upper and lower edges parallel and its left and right edges perpendicular to the door opening. If the door opening is more than one centimeter larger than the door frame, it must be secured with stone or wood to fill the gaps where the expansion screws are placed. Before tightening, install one expansion screw in the upper left and lower right corners of the door frame.
2. Install the door frame and check that the gaps between the door frame and the door are parallel and of standard size. Verify that the two door surfaces align to form a straight line when the door is opened. The gap between the main and secondary doors should not exceed 5mm. Also, check that the door opens and closes smoothly.
3. After adjustment, remove the door frame and fasten all remaining screws, tightening them in pairs, alternating between left and right, and up and down, multiple times for each screw. The tightness should be determined by ensuring the door frame does not move.
4. Reinstall the door frame and re-inspect the gaps and hinges. If there are any discrepancies, try adjusting the tightness of the expansion screws to adjust the door gap and hinge operation.
5. After fixing, install and secure the handle on the door surface. Do not tighten the handle screws too much.
6. After installation, insert foam or pour cement into the door frame. This step must be performed only after the door frame has been adjusted and aligned. Avoid applying excessive pressure to the door frame during this process to prevent deformation.
Non-standard door installation steps – important considerations
1. The size of the door opening can be adjusted by modifying the gap between the hinges and the tightness of the expansion bolts.
2. The gap between door panels can be adjusted by striking the hinges to enlarge the gap.
3. If the door opening is too large, directly tightening with expansion screws will result in excessive spacing between the door frame and the door, making it impossible for the lock to function properly.
4. The facing film should be removed from the door within one week of installation.
