One, Installation method for folding sliding door
1、Determine the location
Before installation, it is crucial to determine the correct location for the folding door. If it is intended for use as a kitchen or bathroom door, it should be installed in the center of the door frame. If it is intended as a room divider in a living room, sufficient space must be left, and the location must be determined. Finally, measure the straight length to ensure the correct length of the track.
2、Secure folding sliding doors
Before fixing, ensure the handle's orientation is correct. We recommend selecting the appropriate orientation based on your preference. once confirmed, begin installing the track, following the order of installing the center first, then the sides. Use a hammer drill to drive screws into the track and door frame or wall.
3、Install adhesive sleeves
Open the folding door and, based on the position of the magnets on the door, determine the location for installing the magnetic strips on the wall or door frame. After determining the position for each magnetic strip, use a hammer drill to create holes, approximately 1.5 inches deep, and then insert the adhesive pads one by one.
4、Attach the magnetic plates
Re-fold the folding door to the center position. Align the holes on the magnetic strip with the center of the hole in the door frame and secure the strip using a screwdriver. Repeat this process for all magnetic strips. once all strips are secured, open the folding door and align the side without the handle with the magnetic strips. This will secure the folding door.
Two. Installation points for folding sliding doors
1、Verify that the track length is correct. If it is too long, use a saw to cut off the excess. Be careful not to let sawdust enter the track.
2. Insert the folded door into the track while it is secured with tie wraps.
3. Verify the correct orientation of the handle and the installation direction of the simple lock, then install the track. Secure it by tightening the screws in a left-to-right order, starting from the center. After installation, release the rope securing the door.
4、Install the magnetic strip. Align the magnetic strip with the corresponding position on the folding door beforehand, then tighten the screws to secure the magnetic strip.
