Two. Method for replacing sliding door pulleys
1、Remove sliding doors
When replacing the rollers, we first need to remove the sliding door from the tracks. First, hold the bottom of one side of the sliding door and lift it upwards. At this point, there is a gap between the roller and the track. Use your hand to support the roller and slowly move it out of the track. Next, use the same method to remove the sliding door from the other tracks. Finally, lift the sliding door upwards and slowly move it outwards to remove it from the tracks.
2、Remove the pulleys.
Participants will place the sliding door flat on the ground. Before placing the sliding door, we can first lay a sheet of hard cardboard on the ground and then carefully position the door. Participants can observe the sliding door's side, which typically has two holes at the bottom. The lower hole reveals the fixing screws for the rollers. If the sliding door's side is covered with felt, participants can remove the felt to expose it. Finally, one hand holds the roller, and the other hand inserts the wrench into the hole to loosen the hexagonal screws and remove the roller.
3、Installation
First, prepare the new pulleys, ensuring their dimensions match the original ones. Next, insert the fixing screws for the pulleys into the mounting holes and then place the new pulleys into the bottom slots of the sliding door. Make sure the pulley mounting holes align with the screws before tightening them. After replacing the pulleys on both sliding doors, insert the sliding doors into the track. Finally, adjust the height of the pulleys.
