One, Indoor Building Door Wiring Method
The wiring method for old-style intercom systems is simple: red is the positive terminal of the power supply, and blue is the negative terminal. Connect the two wires based on their colors. Since the colors of the wires purchased may not match the standard, if the intercom does not function or the sound is very faint, simply reverse the two wires.

II. Steps and key points for installing intercom systems on building doors
1、Pre-installation preparation
Before installing the equipment, a thorough inspection of all system wiring is required to identify any loose connections or short circuits. once it is confirmed that the entire system wiring is free of faults, the equipment can be installed. All connections must be properly soldered. During installation, the equipment must be installed strictly according to the manufacturer's instructions or installation manual.
2、Equipment box installation
(1) The installation location and height of the equipment enclosure should comply with the design requirements. When there are no specific design requirements, the enclosure should be installed in a concealed or safe location, with the bottom edge being 1.4m above the ground.
(2) During installation, the components should be fixed according to the design specifications using expansion bolts. The enclosure should be level and not tilted.
(3) When installing concealed, the enclosure should be tightly fitted against the building surface. Welding or gas welding the enclosure to the pre-embedded pipes is strictly prohibited.
3、Equipment Installation
(1) Electrical panels are typically installed on the inner wall of a security gate door, with a maximum distance from the control lock of 8 meters. Electrical panels must not be installed upside down or sideways when in operation.
(2) Installation of the entrance unit. Entrance units are typically installed within a security door or wall-mounted unit housing. The bottom of the unit should not exceed 1.5m from the ground, and the control panel should face visitors and be easily operable. Installation should be secure and reliable, and the effective viewing angle of the camera lens must be ensured.
(3) Indoor Unit Installation. Indoor units are typically installed on the inner wall of the doorway within the room, with the center of the unit's mounting height 1.3-1.5 meters above the ground. The installation must be secure, stable, and level.
(4) For networked (visible) intercom systems, the host unit should be installed in a monitoring center or a security booth within the residential complex. The installation should be secure and reliable.
