One、Card reader installation
Card readers are typically installed on the exterior of automatic doors. Given that most people open doors with their right hand, card readers are usually mounted on the right-hand wall, within easy reach. The cables are then run discreetly through the door frame to the control unit. The installation steps are as follows:
1、Use a drill to make holes in the wall next to the door.
2、Install screw fixers.
3. Secure the card reader to the wall using screws.
Two. Installation of electrical locking devices
The electric latch consists of two parts: the latch body, which is installed on the door frame, and the magnetic plate, which is installed on the top edge of the door. The installation steps are as follows:
1、Use a cutting machine to create an opening in the door frame that is the same length and width as the electrical strike.
2、Drill a screw hole on each end of the lock.
3. Secure the gasket to the door frame.
4. Secure the electric welding clamp to the shims.
5、Drill two screw holes on the door where it aligns with the lock.
6. Install the magnetic strip of the electric latch along the door's edge.
III. Network Device Installation
Network devices connect door control systems in different locations to form a network, typically installed in server rooms. These devices are connected to the office's monitoring network via a network cable, and also connected to the door control systems in each location.
IV. Software Terminal Installation
The software terminal consists of a dedicated door control system software installed on a computer, located in the monitoring room, used to manage the controllers and IC card registration for automatic doors at various locations. It also features real-time monitoring functionality.
