One, Why does the central water purifier leak?
1、Quality issues
According to consumer feedback, many central water purifiers with leakage issues often stem from substandard connections, poor pressure resistance, lack of durability, and inability to withstand water hammer. Poor-quality PE pipes used in conjunction with central water purifiers also contribute to leakage due to insufficient concentricity, uneven pipe wall thickness, and inadequate pressure resistance. The material quality of the central water purifier's outer casing can also cause leaks.

2、The water filter was not installed correctly.
Another potential cause of water leakage in household central water purifiers is that the internal components of the purifier have not been correctly connected or securely fastened by the manufacturing workers.
3、The joints are not properly tightened.
Another issue is that the connections between the machine and the water pipes were not tightened during the installation of the central water purifier.
Two. How to handle water leakage in the central water purifier.
1、Water leakage from the drain opening.
Due to wear and tear of the valve stem seal within the faucet. Use pliers to loosen and remove the valve cap, then use a clamp to remove the valve stem seal. Replace it with a new valve stem seal.
2、The gap under the faucet is leaking.
This is because the triangular sealing pad inside the central water purifier cover has worn out. The screw can be loosened to remove the retaining clip, then the cover can be detached and removed, followed by removing the triangular sealing pad from the inside of the cover, and then a new one can be installed.
3、Water leakage at pipe connections.
The main issue is that the cover bolts for the central water filter have come loose, and they can be re-tightened or replaced with new U-shaped sealing gaskets.
