One、How to repair fire doors that are damaged
1、The performance of the fire door alarm function depends on the performance of the alarm probes. Users should select the appropriate alarm probes based on their actual needs. The DKM-2B controller comes with one thermal-activated alarm probe upon leaving the factory. If the alarm function is not required, the probe can be omitted.
2. The output signal interface of the fire door alarm probe should be a relay output interface, with a DC power supply voltage of 12-15V. Otherwise, this controller cannot directly power the probe. The probe's power consumption should be ≤100mA. Depending on the site conditions, multiple probes can be used (typically 1-2 probes are recommended). When using multiple probes, they should be connected in parallel. The probes should be protected from other heat sources or direct sunlight and should be covered with a rain cover.
3、Automatic shutdown function for fire doors, which can be set to approximately 145 seconds during factory settings, based on the user-defined door travel.
4. If the fire door opening and closing directions are reversed, simply reverse the connections of the "V" and "W" terminals on the controller. Similarly, if the STOP display indicates the wrong direction, adjust the connections in the same manner.
5. When the fire door controller malfunctions, it should be repaired by qualified personnel or contact the supplier and manufacturer for repair to prevent the fault from escalating and affecting its use.
6、Fire door controllers should be kept clean to prevent water or other harmful substances from entering, and the casing must not be cleaned with organic solvents.
7、Fire doors should typically have a minimum of 8 conductors for their cables (previous wiring configurations with 7 conductors were not ideal). The cable conductors within the door frame should not contain any connections.
8. The remote control transmitter should be protected from excessive pressure, vibration, drops, and water ingress. Regularly check the battery voltage and replace it as needed. When the operating distance is too close, it is generally recommended to replace the battery. The battery specifications are KC12V-23A. The remote control should be kept away from sources of electromagnetic interference.
9、The remote control is encrypted with a unique code at the factory, which cannot be used interchangeably. Users can request the manufacturer to change the password upon request.
II. How to repair fireproof windows that have been damaged.
1. Regularly inspect fire-resistant glass for damage. Primarily, check for detachment, loosening, or cracks. If any of these conditions are observed, they should be repaired promptly to ensure proper functionality in case of a fire.
2. Inspect the sealant used for fixing fire-resistant glass for signs of aging, corrosion, or rust on the metal straps, and loose rivets. These conditions can cause the fire-resistant glass to expand and detach during a fire, which should be repaired promptly.
3. Inspect the inner and outer surfaces of fire-resistant doors. If any paint detachment or rust is observed, it should be repaired promptly. For fire-resistant door components that are prone to corrosion and rust, they should be regularly cleaned, rust-free, and lubricated to prevent damage and extend their lifespan.
4. Check if the window frame and wall connection is secure. Fire-resistant windows are typically connected to the wall using expansion bolts. Over time, these bolts may loosen, so it is important to identify and promptly notify technical personnel for repair.
5. Check if the window sash is securely closed, and inspect hinges, fixing bolts, and handles for any missing or deformed components. If the fire door presents excessive resistance when closed, apply a small amount of lubricating oil to the hinges.
6. Self-closing fire-resistant doors with integrated electronic control systems should be checked frequently to ensure their reliability, preventing malfunction during a fire.
