Two. Principle of opening and unlocking anti-theft hanging locks
Generally, a mortise lock consists of a locking mechanism with a keyhole. In addition to the keyhole, the locking mechanism also has several round holes that correspond to the round holes on the lock body. Inside the locking mechanism, a spring and two differently sized copper balls can be placed. When the key is inserted, the different tooth heights cause the two balls to be pushed to different positions and heights. If the positions and heights are exactly aligned with the round holes on the locking mechanism, the lock can be opened. This is the principle of how mortise locks work.
