One, what does "hotel lock room" mean?
"Hotel room lockout" refers to the situation where a hotel room door is locked after check-in. After checking into a hotel room, it is common practice to lock the door for security purposes.
Another way to "lock" a room in a hotel is to indicate that it is already occupied. This is a categorization of the room's occupancy status by the hotel's system. These categories typically include: guest occupancy, maintenance occupancy, and reservation occupancy, all of which fall under "locking" a room.
