1、Anti-insertion alarm function

When someone intentionally jams the door lock mechanism, preventing it from latching, in order to commit theft, or when the door is not properly closed due to deformation, the door lock will emit a continuous alarm to alert guests and staff to secure the door or check the lock.

2、Emergency opening function

- As an emergency escape function. In any emergency situation, hotels can use emergency cards to directly unlock doors via a card insertion method, maintaining a constant open state for escape, and accompanied by an alarm sound to remind guests to evacuate.

3、Anti-lock indicator light

Guests checking into rooms can set the "Do Not Disturb" mode by unlocking the smart door latch. The door lock's LED will then flash red, indicating "Please Do Not Disturb."

4. "Anti-interference" function

Guest cards are handled and stored by the on-duty staff at the reception desk.

The lost card cancellation process is handled by the front desk staff on duty (limited to guest card operations).

2、Types of IC cards for door locks and their corresponding operational permissions.

Emergency cards, master control cards, and service staff cards are to be created and reported lost by the computer administrator.

The issuance and receipt of guest cards, as well as reporting lost cards, are the responsibility of the front desk reception staff.

In the event of a locked room situation requiring immediate intervention, floor management personnel must notify the housekeeping manager (and, if the housekeeping manager is unavailable, the on-duty manager) and the security personnel. Using the emergency card, the door should be unlocked, and both parties should document the incident accordingly.

When all key cards are unable to be used, the hotel manager will notify the general manager to use a master key to open the door.

Spare blank IC cards are kept by the front hall department manager.

The daily maintenance and repair work for hotel room door locks is the responsibility of the Engineering Department.
