1、Hand application
Door handles, also known as levers, are made from materials such as zinc alloy, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, plastic, wood, and ceramic. Currently, zinc alloy is the most commonly used material for door handles due to its excellent plasticity, which allows for the creation of various shapes, colors, and decorative designs.
2、Panels
The size and dimensions of the door panel determine whether it is a front door lock or a room door lock. Therefore, the door panel's size is a crucial factor when selecting a lock. When purchasing, it is essential to determine the thickness of the door in your home. The typical door thickness ranges from 38 to 45mm. For thicker doors, special door locks are required.

3、Lock body
The lock body is the core component of a lock, comprising the essential parts. It is typically divided into single-tongue and double-tongue lock bodies. The basic components include: the outer shell, the main body, the backing plate, the latch, and screw accessories. The materials used for each component are also different. The lock body outer shell is typically made of galvanized iron, without electroplating; the main body is typically made of zinc alloy and iron; the backing plate is made of stainless steel and copper, often with company logos; and the latch is made of stainless steel, stainless iron, and copper.
4、Lock mechanism
The lock cylinder is the primary component for controlling the lock's opening mechanism, and it is the core part that allows the lock to turn and move the locking bolt when used with a key. There are generally five types: large cylinder, small cylinder, fake cylinder, angle key, and large lock series.
The material and manufacturing process of the lock cylinder have a significant impact on the lock's performance. Lock cylinders for interchangeable locks typically use a ball-and-socket mechanism, with more balls increasing security. The front and rear balls function as a locking mechanism, while the middle balls serve as a code, and the more middle balls there are, the lower the compatibility rate.
5、Accessories
Accessories are an integral part of the locking mechanism. As the saying goes, "A breach in a thousand-mile-long dike is caused by an ant." Even a small accessory can damage a precision machine. Similarly, a small component within a lock is equally important.
