One, the difference between opening a single door with a handle and opening a double door with a handle
1、Single-handed lever lock
A single-handed lever lock consists of a keyhole on the outside for unlocking from the outside, and a knob on the inside for unlocking from the inside. This type of lock provides strong escape functionality.
2、Double-handed lock
Double-key hand-operated locks have keyholes on both sides and require a key to operate. Double-key hand-operated locks have a weaker escape function because, in the event of a fire, you need a key to open the door, which poses a safety risk. Single-key hand-operated locks can be opened by simply turning the knob.
Two-way door handle installation method

1、According to ergonomics, the handle position is approximately 100cm from the ground, which is more in line with the natural movement of the human arm, providing a comfortable user experience. The position can also be adjusted according to the owner's preferences or requirements.
2. After determining the height, the installer uses a measuring tool to mark the lines, ensuring that the lines on both sides of the door are at the same height. If the lines on the inside and outside are not level, the door will appear skewed after installation, which is not aesthetically pleasing and can also lead to problems over time.
3. The packaging includes an installation diagram that clearly indicates the dimensions of the spacing between holes for installation. The installer measures and marks the hole spacing on the door according to the diagram, then uses a hand drill to create the holes.
4. After ensuring all holes are properly drilled, begin the installation process. The screws for the inner and outer handles are typically located on the inside of the door. (If the screws are located on the outside, you can remove the door lock.) Ensure the screws on the inside of the door are tightened, and that the inner and outer handles are level during tightening. The screws should not be loose.
5. The lock body has been installed. For standard household door locks, the included key set typically consists of three keys. After installation, it is necessary to inspect the keys by turning them both ways to ensure proper function, and to check if the locking mechanism operates smoothly. The handle should be securely fastened, and the handle cover must completely cover the lock hole to ensure compliance with quality standards. The locking mechanism cover should be placed inside the slot, ensuring it is level with the door.
