The effective lifespan of the filter depends on the water usage and water quality. There are various types of filters used in water purifiers, and each type has a different replacement cycle. Therefore, the replacement time also varies depending on the type of filter. For example, activated carbon filters typically need to be replaced every 3-6 months, but this may vary depending on the local water quality.
1、The first PP filter removes large particles such as rust and sediment, and also protects the subsequent 4 filters from clogging prematurely. It effectively filters approximately 2000 liters. For household use, we recommend changing it every 6 months due to infrequent water usage. For commercial water purifiers, the water consumption is significantly higher, so we recommend replacing it every month.
2nd and 3rd-stage filters effectively filter out residual chlorine and organic compounds in water, with a filtration capacity of approximately 4000 liters. For household use, replacement should be done every 8-9 months. For commercial water purifiers, replacement is recommended every 2 months.
The 4th and 5th filter cartridges can effectively filter bacteria and microorganisms from water, and are the core components of the entire filter. Their effective filtration capacity is approximately 8000 liters, which is sufficient for household use approximately once a year. For commercial water filtration systems, replacement is recommended every 4 months.
2、Regarding water quality
As self-supplied water pipes are used for a long time, the accumulation of rust, impurities, and other substances on the inner walls of the pipes will increase the frequency of replacing the water filter in water purifiers.
Two. How to remove the filter in a water dispenser.
1. First, it is essential to turn off the water supply and the power source to prevent any unnecessary complications. This is crucial because it involves both water and electricity, and ensuring personal safety is paramount.
2、Energy-saving water purifiers are supplied with small tools to facilitate the replacement of filters upon leaving the factory.
3. Using small tools, remove the filter canister. Note that it will contain water, so it is best to have a mop and cleaning supplies readily available to avoid getting wet.
4、After removal, be sure to note a small pad, which is usually black in color; please make sure it doesn't get lost.
5. Replace the old filter with a new one. The new filter also has a transparent gasket; do not remove it, as this will significantly reduce its effectiveness. Place the filter with the gasket on the outlet side, as this is crucial.
6. When installing the filter, first rinse the new filter with clean water.
7. Replace the original component. Use small tools to properly install the filter bucket.
8. Open the water inlet of the water dispenser, turn on the power, and also open the water tap for the energy-saving water dispenser.
9、Pour one to two minutes of water, check for any leakage, if there is none, the filter is installed correctly.
