One, should we install both a fingerprint lock and a traditional lock?
"Heaven and Earth hooks" are a product unique to China. There is no equivalent product in the international market. While installing "heaven and earth hooks" can enhance the security of mechanical locks, they are unnecessary and even detrimental when installing smart fingerprint locks.

The use of the "Catch-and-release" will significantly increase the failure rate of smart locks and shorten their lifespan. Furthermore, in critical emergency situations, it often backfires. For example, when a fire occurs, the door frame may be warped due to high temperatures, and the mechanical lock hole may also be distorted, making it impossible to open. When firefighters attempt to forcefully break the door open using the "Catch-and-release," they often find themselves trapped, delaying the rescue.
Two, does "Tian Di Lock" actually work?
The double-leaf lock features upper and lower connecting rods, allowing both sides of the door to be locked simultaneously. The lock consists of components such as the lock head, operating lever, upper and lower locking tongues, leaf rods, and tail cover, and is primarily used for double-leaf fire doors, providing escape functionality in the event of a fire. The upper and lower locking tongues of the double-leaf lock independently secure the upper door frame and the lower floor, and when the operating lever is operated, the upper locking tongue is pushed upwards, and the lower locking tongue is pulled upwards, enabling the opening of the normally closed fire door.
Most people believe that using a "King Lock" body with "Heaven and Earth Hooks" provides better security, as it has multiple locking points and appears strong. However, this type of security primarily protects against forced entry, rather than improving resistance to theft. The "Heaven and Earth Hooks" utilize the "L" shape of the door frame to create a more secure locking mechanism on both sides of the opening. This primarily enhances the protection between the door and the frame, without any technical improvements.
