One、How to change the password and fingerprint on a fingerprint lock
1. First, we open the sliding cover of the smart fingerprint door lock and activate the password input area.
2. Then, press the "Enter" key and the "OK" key in the lower-left corner to enter administrator mode. Most settings for the door lock are configured within this administrator mode.
3. After entering administrator mode, you will be prompted to enter the administrator password. The initial password is 123456.
4、After entering the password, we see four options, and select option "2" to set up user accounts.
5. After entering the user interface settings, we can see three options. We select option "1" to add a user.
6. After entering the user addition interface, we see three options: adding a password, fingerprint, and magnetic card.
7. After entering the fingerprint (password) input, you have 30 seconds to register the fingerprint (password). once the fingerprint (password) is registered, a message indicating "Setup successful" will be displayed.
Two. What should I do if I have forgotten the administrator password for a fingerprint lock?
If you forget the administrator password for the smart lock, in addition to using other unlocking methods, you can also find a small round button on the back panel, typically located below the battery cover. Pressing and holding this button for more than three seconds will restore the device to its factory settings. This operation requires the device to be powered on. After restoring to the factory settings, you can re-set the administrator password and add regular users, and the instructions for the initial password will be provided.
