One. How to open the battery cover of the fingerprint lock.
Please refer to the specific brand of your lock for the recommended locations, which typically include: the back plate, the lock body, and the power supply area.

1、Most batteries are located on the rear panel, secured with screws. A screwdriver is sufficient.
2. This is less common on door latches, but more often seen on hotel locks. For example, the latch body of some Haier Star hotel locks (which include a battery compartment) can be removed by opening the door, removing the latch body guide plate (side bar), and the battery compartment will pop out. Then, simply replace the battery.
3. Centralized power distribution is less common, typically involving dozens or even hundreds of rooms managed collectively, with a dedicated DC power supply and wiring to each room's lock. This eliminates the need for battery covers as there are no batteries involved.
Two. What should I do if the battery cover of the fingerprint lock cannot be opened?
1、The first scenario
(1) Press the battery cover upwards to remove it. It may require some force to detach.
(2) Remove all old batteries, then replace them with new 8 x AA (5-hour) batteries. Do not mix new and old batteries.
(3) Allow the battery-powered lock to operate for a few minutes, then manually check the battery for excessive heat. If the battery is noticeably hot, replace it. Continue this process until the battery temperature returns to normal before closing the battery compartment.
2. The second scenario: Some products utilize a single panel design, requiring the removal and replacement of the internal door's entire panel when the battery needs to be replaced.
3. Third scenario: For some products, the fingerprint lock battery is installed at the bottom of the panel, requiring the user to open the panel bottom slot using screws to replace the 8-cell battery. Typically, this type of battery is a 4-cell battery.
