4. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws securing the locking mechanism in the center of the locking plate. The locking mechanism screws are typically located on the center line of the side locking plate and are parallel to the bottom of the keyhole.
5. Insert the key and gently rotate it to remove the lock core. Keep the key on the core to distinguish between indoor and outdoor locks.
6、Before removal, ensure that all locking mechanisms are fully retracted.
7. Using a straight edge or measuring tape, measure from the center of the fixed lock screw hole to both sides, noting the indoor and outdoor lengths, and record the measurements. Then, select the appropriate lock based on the data.

1、Use a straight ruler to measure the distance from the center of the fixing screw on the lock to the edge of the interior door, and record the measurement.
2、If there are protrusions on the door frame, use a card, phone, or other hard object to assist in measuring.
3. Use a straight ruler to measure the distance from the center of the fixing screw to the outer edge of the door, and record the measurement B.
4、Use a straight ruler to measure the thickness of the handle (door knob) panel near the keyhole, and record the data.
5. During measurement, items such as cards can be used to assist in measurement, which helps to reduce errors.
6、Indoor = A+C, Outdoor = B+C, Suitable locks can be selected based on the corresponding dimensions.
