One. How to forcefully open a metal padlock.
Breaking the lock on the side is easy. Here's how to break the lock open using a hammer:
1. First, use your left index finger to firmly press and tighten the lock's center mechanism.
2. First step: Hold the lock body with the index finger, ensuring the middle part is not pressed against the lock. Then, use the thumb and ring finger of the left hand to apply pressure to the body of the lock.
3. Third step: Then, use a hammer to repeatedly strike the lock mechanism, applying consistent force to the sides of the lock. During this process, ensure that your index, thumb, and ring fingers are properly positioned to securely hold the lock as shown in the previous gesture.
4. Fourth step: Apply consistent force to the lock edge for approximately 10 minutes. This will loosen the lock. Continue applying force for another 5 minutes, and you will notice that the lock has automatically popped up a short distance.
5. Fifth step: Firmly pull up the shackle, and when the shackle has shifted 90 degrees, it indicates that the padlock has been completely opened. The operation is complete.
Two. The fastest method to open a small lock.
To break open a lock, you can use a hammer to strike the connecting point between the lock mechanism and the lock body with sufficient force. This method usually works, but if the aim is off, it may damage the door or cabinet. Besides using brute force, there are two other methods for unlocking locks without a key: one is to insert two screwdrivers crosswise into the lock mechanism and apply some force, which may open the lock. The other is to insert a thin, hard metal wire into the lockhole and move it back and forth, which may also open the lock.
