Method 1: Attempt combinations of common numeric passwords.
Common bicycle locks typically use a three-digit combination, with each digit ranging from 0 to 9. The total number of possible combinations is 720. Trying each combination one by one is impractical. Therefore, it is recommended to try common digit combinations first. If these do not work, try the following methods.
Method 2: Listen for the sound.
Slowly and deliberately turn the numbers, and the tight knobs, carefully feeling the force of each turn. There will be one that feels noticeably looser. once you find the correct one, also listen for the sound. The correct number will produce a "tick" sound.
Method 3: Remove the lock and reset the password.
1、Use a tool to carefully cut open the slot of the lock (without completely removing it). once cut, you will be able to access the lock's slot.
2. After removing the shackle, the four digits on the bicycle lock are also jumbled. At this point, you simply need to reassemble the lock's structure. The most difficult part is inserting the U-shaped metal plate into the lock's slot, ensuring it is properly aligned with the lock's groove. Remember that the U-shaped metal plate is located at the lock hole opening, between the groove and the lock hole opening.
3. once everything is installed, you can start setting the numbers. Use a flashlight to examine the lock hole and set the numbers one by one. There are four sets of numbers, and you should set them in groups until you have created a row of slots that are fully recessed. once the latch can be inserted, it indicates success.
