One、How to clean a solid wood table
For general wooden tables, use a dry, soft cloth to clean. If stains are severe, you can use warm water with dish soap, but be sure to clean thoroughly with clean water afterward, and then dry with a dry, soft cloth.

Proper cleaning of solid wood furniture also requires specific methods. Use soft cotton cloths, which can be slightly damp, but should not drip. Also, wipe in the direction of the wood grain to avoid using alcohol or other chemical solvents or cleaning agents.
II. How to maintain solid wood tables and chairs
1、When moving or repositioning furniture, handle it gently and avoid pulling or dragging forcefully, as this can damage the joinery structure. Avoid lifting furniture from the top, as this can cause detachment. Instead, lift furniture from both sides and underneath, and remove cabinet doors before lifting, to reduce weight and prevent the doors from moving. For particularly heavy furniture, use a soft rope to secure the furniture and lift it from the bottom before moving.
2、Maintain a dry environment: In addition to not placing wooden tables in direct sunlight or near heating sources, they should also be kept away from areas with high air circulation. Maintaining a dry indoor environment will minimize the risk of moisture absorption and expansion in the wood, preventing cracking and deformation, and thus extending the lifespan of the wooden table.
3. Avoid Direct Sunlight: Wooden products will crack if exposed to prolonged sunlight. Therefore, our wooden tables should be placed in areas where they are not directly exposed to sunlight. The ideal temperature and humidity for wooden furniture are 18°C to 24°C, with a relative humidity of 35%-40%. Please avoid placing furniture near heat sources or air conditioning vents. Temperature fluctuations can damage any exposed part of the furniture. Additionally, the use of humidifiers, fireplaces, or small heaters can also accelerate the aging of furniture.
4、Regular Maintenance of Solid Wood Furniture: It is recommended to apply a coat of paint to solid wood furniture every six months to prevent the paint from peeling, which can affect its appearance and shorten its lifespan. We recommend professional maintenance for furniture 1-2 times per year. First, wipe the surface with a cloth to remove dust, then use a sponge to apply wood wax to the furniture surface. After applying the wax, wipe the entire surface with a dry cloth. After the wood wax is completely dry, use soft, non-shedding cloths such as artificial deer skin, artificial chicken skin, or velvet to thoroughly clean and polish the furniture, making it even brighter.
5. Winter Maintenance: The winter climate is dry, and there is a significant temperature difference between indoors and outdoors. If windows are opened, cold air from the outside will enter, making the indoor environment drier. Therefore, it is recommended that families with a lot of solid wood furniture reduce the frequency and duration of opening windows for ventilation during the winter to maintain a suitable humidity level. Also, avoid placing solid wood furniture near ventilation openings.
