One: How often should a computer chair be maintained?
The maintenance cycle for computer chairs does not have a fixed value. Generally, if the environment is poor and there is a lot of dust, cleaning and maintenance should be performed at least once a month. If the environment is good, cleaning and maintenance can also be performed once a year.
However, it is important to regularly remove any wires, hair, or debris from the floor while using the office chair to prevent the wheels from malfunctioning. Additionally, it is necessary to regularly check for loose screws and tighten them promptly if necessary.
II. Computer Chair Maintenance Methods

Avoid direct sunlight exposure. When hot objects are placed on furniture, use insulating pads underneath to prevent damage and prolong their lifespan.
Prevent damage from sharp objects. Leather and fabric computer chairs should be immediately cleaned with a clean, white towel dampened with a small amount of alcohol or cleaning solution to remove stains from oil, ink, or other substances. Then, dry the area with a slightly damp towel.
Do not expose to colored water or alkaline solutions. If water gets on the surface, immediately wipe it dry with a clean cloth. If colored liquids or other harmful liquids come into contact with the surface, immediately follow the cleaning instructions on the furniture label. Do not use water for washing or bleaching. If you notice loose threads, do not pull them apart by hand. Instead, use scissors to neatly trim them.
For wooden computer chairs, if you notice any structural looseness before use, tighten the connecting fasteners. When cleaning, use a soft cloth to wipe along the grain of the wood. The cloth should be lightly dampened with cleaning solution; do not use a dry cloth, as this may damage the finish.
- Avoid using heavy objects to strike the computer chair.- Avoid abrading the surface or cutting objects on the computer chair surface.- Avoid applying heavy pressure when cleaning the surface.- Avoid using paints with different colors than the original finish of the furniture to repair the furniture.
