Overall cabinet installation steps: Generally, the installation of an overall cabinet requires two installers. After the cabinet arrives, it should be installed in the following order: base cabinet, upper cabinet, countertop, sink/faucet, and hob/appliances.

Two. How to install a complete kitchen cabinet.

1、base Cabinet: Before installing the base cabinets, the kitchen floor should be cleaned to accurately measure the floor level. Connecting the base cabinets is also an important step in the installation process, typically requiring 4 connecting pieces between cabinet sections to ensure a tight fit.

2、 Cabinets: When installing cabinets, to ensure the horizontal alignment of expansion bolts, draw a horizontal line on the wall. The distance between the horizontal line and the countertop is typically 650mm. You can adjust the distance between the countertop and the cabinet according to your height for easier future use.

3、Countertops: Currently, most countertops for cabinets are made of artificial stone or natural stone. Natural stone countertops are composed of several pieces of stone that are bonded together. The bonding time, amount of adhesive used, and degree of polishing all affect the appearance of the countertop.

Generally, it takes about 30 minutes to bond countertops in summer, and 1 to 1.5 hours in winter. Use professional adhesives during bonding. To ensure the aesthetics of the countertop seams, use a grinder for grinding and polishing during installation.

4. Hardware: Sinks, faucets, and pull-out drawers are also key components of cabinets. During the installation of hanging cabinets and countertops, to prevent wood shavings from falling into the drawer tracks, cover the drawer tracks with protective covers to avoid affecting future use. Sink installation involves drainage issues, and sink installations typically involve on-site drilling. Using a professional drill, drill holes according to the size of the pipes. The diameter of the holes should be at least 3-4 mm larger than the pipes, and the drilled openings should be sealed with sealing strips to prevent water from leaking and causing the wood edges to swell and deform, which would affect the lifespan of the cabinets.

5、 Cooktop Appliances: Installing embedded appliances within the cabinets only requires creating a power outlet on-site. However, the outlet should not be too small to avoid inconvenience during future repairs and disassembly. When installing a range hood, the distance between the hood and the cooktop should generally be between 750-800 mm to ensure proper use and ventilation. If the installation height is too high, it will affect the ventilation effect.

6. Adjust Cabinet Doors: The final step in installing cabinets is adjusting the doors to ensure even spacing and proper alignment. The depth of base cabinets is typically 550mm, while the depth of hanging cabinets is 300mm. These dimensions can be adjusted to suit specific needs.
