II. How to Select Marble Tiles
1、Inspect for visual defects.

2、Listen for the sound
The higher the clarity of the sound produced by tapping with a hard object, the higher the degree of vitrification and the better the quality. Alternatively, you can use your thumb, index finger, and middle finger to gently grasp one corner of the tile and easily pull it down. Then, tap the lower portion of the tile with your index finger, and a clear, pleasant sound indicates a high-quality tile. A dull, muffled sound indicates a lower quality.

5、Check the certificate
- Do not rely solely on manufacturer awards. When selecting tiles, consumers are often misled by the superficial honors presented by retailers, and they neglect product quality inspection reports and radioactive detection reports. The quality of marble tiles should not be judged solely based on various certifications, but rather based on the quality of the product itself.
Additionally, observe the hardness. Marble tiles are considered excellent when they exhibit good hardness, high toughness, and resistance to cracking. Examine the broken edges of marble tile fragments to determine if they are fine and dense or loose and porous. Assess whether they are hard, brittle, or soft, and whether they leave scratches or scatter powder. If the fragments are fine and dense, the quality is excellent. If they are loose and porous, the quality is poor.
