1、Stainless steel pipe "clamp-type" connection:
Stainless steel pipe clamp connections are actually quite simple. First, you need to know that stainless steel pipe clamp connections come in two types: "single clamp" and "double clamp". The double clamp connection is the most stable. Using a hydraulic clamp, the fitting is clamped onto the pipe, and an O-ring seal is used to create a watertight connection. This method is easy to operate, has good sealing, and is not removable.

Utilize the stiffness of stainless steel materials and the elasticity of sealing materials to achieve the optimal compression ratio, fully utilizing the bearing interface length. The fittings are clamped onto the pipe using radial shrinkage force (hydraulic clamps), and the sealing O-rings are used to achieve the connection. Generally, the maximum diameter for compression connections is DN15, and the maximum diameter can be DN100. Easy to operate, excellent sealing, and non-removable.
2、Stainless steel pipe "assembly-type" connections:
Prefabricated connections are simpler and faster than cast-in-place connections. With just one insertion and one tightening, a connection is complete, allowing for quick installation, typically in the morning, followed by immediate use in the afternoon.
3、Stainless steel pipe "welding" connection:
Welded connections utilize fusion welding, which provides high strength. However, achieving adequate gas protection at the welding interface is challenging, potentially reducing the lifespan of the pipe. The quality of installation is highly dependent on the welder's skills, making it difficult to ensure consistent quality.
4、Stainless steel pipe "grooved" connection:
Groove-type connections are achieved by tightening the bolts on the fittings, which puts axial pressure on the expansion sleeve and stainless steel fitting, and achieves a sealing effect through the conical sealing ring. These fittings are easy to install and remove, but the cost of the cast clamp is high.
5、Stainless steel pipe "welded connection":
Welded connections involve inserting a stainless steel pipe into a fitting, followed by argon arc welding the extended circular end of the stainless steel pipe to the fitting, creating a seamless connection. These connections are reliable and require minimal maintenance. However, in the production of welded stainless steel fittings, the connection between the stainless steel pipe and the fitting is achieved through a water-expansion process similar to hydraulic expansion of stainless steel pipes.
6、Stainless steel pipe "threaded" connections:
Threaded connections use stainless steel fittings and stainless steel pipes, where the two connecting parts are tightened directly using tapered threads, similar to tightening screws. It is said that these can also be tightened manually, providing a convenient and quick connection method.
7、Stainless steel pipe "flange" connection:
Flanged connections are achieved by tightening bolts to connect two flanged connection components. The connection effect is achieved through the sealing of a flat gasket. This connection method is relatively mature, offering high connection strength and pressure resistance, and is also removable. However, the relative cost is higher.
Two. What sealing materials are used for stainless steel pipe fittings?
Stainless steel pipes utilize compression-type stainless steel fittings to ensure a tight seal. Liquid raw material strips can also be used to seal stainless steel fittings. However, it is important to note that liquid raw material strips are simply a "filler" used to fill gaps in the seal. This means that the fittings themselves must have a sealing function, such as conical thread connections. Otherwise, leaks may still occur.
