One、How to create a diatomaceous mud background wall
1、Mixing
Before applying diatomaceous earth, it is essential to mix it thoroughly. The most common method is to add a specific amount of water to the diatomaceous earth in a container and allow it to soak for a few minutes before mixing.
2、Application
After stirring until evenly mixed, it can be applied. The application of diatomaceous earth background wall typically involves two coats. The first coat should be applied evenly to a thickness of approximately 1mm, and after it has set and is no longer tacky, the second coat can be applied. The second coat should be applied to a thickness of approximately 15mm.

3. Create a textured pattern for the diatomaceous earth background wall.
once the applied silicone-based coating is completely dry, you can create the desired texture pattern according to your preferences and the specified method. There are no limitations on the texture patterns achievable with silicone-based coating; with creativity and artistic skill, you can freely create various patterns on the wall surface.
4、Curing
once the diatomaceous earth surface has been finished with the desired texture pattern, it can be further smoothed and consolidated along the pattern lines using a finishing trowel.
Two. Key Construction Points for Algae-based TV Background Wall Installation
1、Construction environment
When installing diatomaceous mud on a TV background wall, the relative humidity should be less than 80%, and the moisture content of the substrate should be less than 10%. Extremely humid environments are not suitable for diatomaceous mud installation.
The construction temperature for diatomaceous mud materials should be between -4℃ and 40℃. Therefore, diatomaceous mud should not be used for construction in extremely cold winters or hot summers.
2、Substrate Preparation
If you find that the wall substrate has air bubbles or cracks before applying the diatomaceous earth coating, you should first address the issues with the substrate, followed by thorough cleaning. only after these steps are completed can you proceed with applying the diatomaceous earth coating.
3. Any construction-related issues should be addressed by technical personnel.
If any technical issues arise during construction, do not delay and argue or instruct construction personnel to make changes based on their assumptions. Instead, immediately contact the manufacturer's technical personnel to come on-site for troubleshooting. This will help prevent technical errors that could lead to problems with the silicone-based wall covering.
