One, what type of sprayer is best for applying real stone paint?
Commonly used real stone paint spray tools utilize real stone paint spray guns. For real stone paint spray guns, the air pressure should be controlled between 4 to 7 kilograms per square centimeter during use. Additionally, it is important to control the construction temperature, and we recommend maintaining the temperature between 10°C and 35°C for optimal results.

The number of coats applied with real stone paint, the nozzle diameter used during application, and the particle size of the real stone paint all have a certain relationship. Common nozzle sizes for real stone paint spray guns are 4MM, 6MM, and 8MM, corresponding to fine, medium, and coarse sand particles of real stone paint.
1、For rough stone paint with a 8mm diameter nozzle, due to the larger particles in the rough stone paint, the initial coating thickness is already significant. Therefore, a second coat is not necessary.
2. For textured coatings with sand, use a nozzle with a diameter of 6MM. Typically, one or two coats of textured coating are sufficient for the sand, but if the applicator is skilled, a primer with the same color as the main material can be used, which is 20% darker than the textured coating. In this case, one coat of the textured coating will achieve a good texture effect. However, if the effect after one coat cannot cover the color of the substrate or the coating is uneven, causing a bumpy surface, two coats are required.
3. For fine-grained natural stone paints, use a 4MM nozzle. This is commonly used for interior wall decoration because the surface can be made relatively smooth. However, applying one coat is often insufficient to cover the base color, so it is generally recommended to apply two coats.
Two. What should beginners pay attention to when applying faux stone paint?
1、Before applying the real stone paint, the working conditions of the real stone paint surface must meet the requirements. By "working conditions for applying real stone paint," we mean that the alkaline-resistant primer that is applied to the real stone paint substrate must be dry, and the alkaline-resistant primer must be completely dry before applying the real stone paint.
2. When using real stone paint, please pay attention to the following points: Firstly, real stone paint generally does not require the addition of water before use. Water should only be added in small amounts for adjustment when necessary. When applying real stone paint, it is essential to strictly control the viscosity of the paint, the air pressure of the sprayer, the size of the nozzle, and the distance between the sprayer nozzle and the surface being painted. All of these parameters should be kept within the specified ranges.
3. Specific environmental requirements for applying real stone paint. Since real stone paint is typically applied outdoors using spraying methods, spraying real stone paint should be stopped when strong winds, such as those with wind speeds exceeding Level 4, occur. This is because spraying real stone paint in such conditions can easily lead to localized blistering and cracking of the paint film.
4. Additionally, pay attention to the following operational points. When using a spray gun, do not perform the initial and final spray applications directly on the wall surface. Also, maintain a consistent and even spray gun movement speed, ensuring that each spray application overlaps at least 1/3 of the width of the previous application to maintain a uniform and thin paint film thickness. When applying multi-colored textured paint, avoid using a mixed spraying technique; instead, apply the colors in a stepwise manner.
