Generally, flexible coatings cure naturally, and once the surface is properly sealed, they will cure naturally. For general-purpose coatings, a second curing process is required, and it is recommended to water the surface twice, once in the morning, once in the afternoon, and once in the evening, to facilitate complete crystallization and curing.
II. Waterproof Coating Maintenance Precautions

Second, check whether the color of the cured waterproof layer is uniform and consistent, and whether there are any holes, pinholes, or bubbles. Finally, check the areas around pipes and corners for any accumulation of material. Any of these conditions should be addressed immediately.
2. The recommended maintenance period for waterproofing is based on the self-curing time of the material, which is influenced by the ambient temperature during construction. Therefore, a longer maintenance period allows the waterproofing layer to fully react and develop its strength.
If the ambient temperature is high and ventilation is good, a curing time of 48 hours or more is still required. However, in areas with low temperatures and poor ventilation, it is necessary to extend the curing time appropriately. If there is no urgent need to expedite the construction, it is recommended to allow for a longer curing period to ensure that the waterproofing membrane fully reacts and solidifies.
