One, what is the installation spacing forDurable wood?
Weather-resistant wood has properties such as corrosion resistance, moisture resistance, antifungal properties, pest and ant protection, mold and mildew prevention, and waterproofing. Therefore, under normal conditions, the installation spacing for weather-resistant wood can be 5mm. If the moisture content of the weather-resistant wood exceeds 25%, it is recommended to use 3mm spacing, allowing the wood to naturally shrink.
Two. important considerations for installing anti-corrosion wood.

1、At the construction site,Durable wood should be stored in a well-ventilated area, and should be avoided from direct sunlight exposure as much as possible.
2、When installing anti-corrosion wood outdoors, it should be carried out only after the outdoor environment has reached a relatively dry state.
3. It is advisable to use wood that has been pre-processed to the final dimensions, as the distribution of preservatives within the wood decreases from the outside to the inside. To achieve effective preservation, a sufficient amount of preservative must be maintained. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid sawing, drilling, or other mechanical processing of preservative-treated wood, especially lengthwise cutting.
4. When constructing a deck, try to use long planks to minimize joints for a more aesthetically pleasing result.
5. All connection points must use hot-dip galvanized fasteners or stainless steel hardware. Ideally, these should be corrosion-resistant to prevent rust, which would otherwise damage the entire anti-corrosion wood structure.
6. To address the durability issues of outdoor wooden landscapes, applying a coat of paint is the best approach to extend the lifespan of the wood. When applying paint to treated wood, it is recommended to wait until the wood surface is completely dry before painting.
