One. Functional characteristics of solar panels
1、Transparency
PC solar panels have the highest light transmission rate, reaching up to 89%, which is comparable to glass. UV-coated panels will not yellow, become hazy, or have poor light transmission when exposed to sunlight.
2、Impact Resistance
Solar panels have a 250-300 times greater impact resistance than ordinary glass, 30 times greater than the same thickness of acrylic board, and 2-20 times greater than tempered glass. When a 3kg hammer is dropped from a height of 2 meters, there are no cracks, earning them the nicknames "unbreakable glass" and "sound steel."

3、UV protection
The PC solar panel has a UV-resistant coating on one side and a frost-resistant coating on the other, combining UV protection, insulation, and anti-condensation properties. It can block UV rays and is suitable for protecting valuable artworks and exhibits, preventing damage from UV radiation.
4、Lightweight
Solar panels have a density that is only half that of glass, which saves costs related to transportation, handling, installation, and support frame construction.
5、Fire resistance
The self-extinguishing property of the solar panel is evident in its ignition point of 580℃. It is inherently fire-resistant, and after a fire, it self-extinguishes without producing toxic gases or spreading the flames.
6、Flexibility
Glazing panels can be fabricated and installed on-site using cold bending techniques according to the design drawings, forming arched, semicircular roofs and windows. The minimum bending radius is 175 times the panel thickness, or can be hot-bent.
7、Sound insulation performance
The sound insulation performance of solar panels is significantly better than that of glass and acrylic sheets of the same thickness.
II. Applications of Solar Panels
1、Garden and recreational areas: decorative and resting pavilions.
2、Exterior and interior decoration of commercial buildings, curtain walls of modern urban buildings.
3. Aircraft transparent containers, motorcycle windshields, aircraft, trains, ships, automobiles, speedboats, submarines, and glass military and police shields.
4. Telephone booths, advertising signs, billboards, and the arrangement of displays and exhibitions.
5、Instruments, meters, control panels for low and high-voltage switchgear, and military industry applications.
6、High-end interior decorative materials such as walls, ceilings, and screens.
7、Sound barriers for highways and urban elevated roadways.
