One. Is it necessary to use a roller when installing "Nail Board"?
Yes.
When installing durability board materials, there are often gaps between the two boards. To ensure the airtightness of the durability board after installation, a fitting is needed to provide a secure connection. This fitting is the compression strip. Therefore, a compression strip is required when installing durability board.

Two. Installation method for solar panel pressing strips
1、Embedded installation
Calculate the required embedding depth based on the thickness, thermal expansion and contraction, support structure, wind pressure, load, and other performance characteristics of the solar panel material.
Considering local climate conditions and the temperature during construction, ensure adequate expansion gaps between boards and between boards and the substrate. For summer use, the expansion gap should be larger, while for winter use, the gap should be even larger.
Upon completion of installation, note that the panel may still have slight movement on the support structure. However, this movement will not affect the materials or the support structure. Therefore, it is essential to select materials with both strong adhesion and flexibility, such as rubber compression strips.
2、Screw-hole installation
When installing aluminum profiles for solar panels using screw-pierced installation, the diameter of the openings in the panel should be at least half the diameter of the bolt. This prevents damage caused by thermal expansion and contraction.
It is not possible to fix screws directly into the substrate when creating the hole, as this would prevent the creation of an expansion gap.
When drilling holes in panels, the distance between the holes should be appropriate. If the distance is too large, the expansion due to heat will be significant. If the distance is too small, it will affect the movement of the panel, leading to excessive stress concentration. If the expansion can be directed outwards, it can offset some of the force.
When drilling holes in solar panels, the spacing between holes should ideally be around 50 centimeters, and the distance between the holes and the edge of the panel should be at least 3-5 centimeters.
