One、How to cut fire-resistant boards during installation
Use cutting tools to cut the fire-resistant board to the desired dimensions. Note that 6mm should be left on each edge for trimming. When cutting, ensure that saw blades or other cutting tools enter from the back of the board to avoid creating gaps in the cut.
II. What tools are needed for cutting fire-resistant boards?
1、Manual cutting tools
Hand-cut fire-resistant boards can be cut using a utility knife. For cutting into curved shapes, a jigsaw can be used.
2、Mechanical cutting tools
The mechanical saw used for cutting fire-resistant boards is a push saw, which requires a saw blade for cutting. Saw blades come in two types: toothed saw blades and alloy saw blades. The type of saw blade to choose depends on the material of the fire-resistant board. Note that the diameter of the saw blade hole must be 0.5mm smaller than the diameter of the screws on the push saw.
