One. Will particleboard crack?
If the particleboard veneer cracks or is damaged, the following method can be used to repair it: First, place a damp cloth over the damaged area of the particleboard veneer, then place a hot iron on the cloth to force moisture into the veneer, making it more flexible and less prone to cracking. This will also remove the old adhesive from the veneer and allow for the application of a new adhesive to the substrate. once the adhesive is completely dry, apply a layer of white adhesive to the back of the veneer and press it firmly into place.
Two. Can particleboard be repaired if it is damaged?

Minor issues on particleboard can be repaired. Here are the methods for repairing particleboard:
1、 Insert several toothpicks into the hole, and after the glue has completely dried, use scissors to cut them flush with the particleboard. Then, replace the screws. The toothpicks will help restore the hole to its original size and provide a surface for the screws to grip. When inserting the screws, use a steel or aluminum washer to prevent the problem from recurring.
2. If the holes in the toothpick are too large, you can use sawdust and wood glue as a filler. Sawdust can be obtained from hardware stores. Mix the sawdust and sufficient glue in a disposable cup to form a paste. Then, fill the holes with the paste, allow it to dry for 24 hours, and then re-secure the screws. You may need to use a toothpick to push the glue into the holes. This paste is a basic material for particleboard and can also be used to fill some cracks.
3. If there is a long crack on the particleboard, you can reinforce it. To do this, purchase reinforcing brackets from a hardware store. These brackets come in various shapes and sizes. You will need flat ones. They are thin, long metal strips with pre-cut holes. First, attach the brackets with wood glue, then secure them with small screws.
