One. The process of installing ecological boards oneself.
1. When installing ecological panels, the first thing to consider is the cleanliness and smoothness of the wall. If the wall surface has many uneven areas or oil stains, it is not suitable for installing ecological panels at this time. After cleaning the oil stains from the wall, it is also not possible to install immediately, as the wall is not yet dry. A thorough inspection is required to check for any defects. Even if the wall is finished, it will not last long if it has defects.
2. There are many materials and auxiliary materials required for installing ecological boards, such as: ecological boards, stainless steel expansion bolts, cross-head galvanized self-tapping screws, angle screws, ecological board-specific steel profiles, 35*45 edge banding, and solid profiles. These materials are essential. Additionally, when preparing these small materials, it is best to have a slightly larger quantity on hand, as shortages during the construction process can be very problematic.
3. At this stage, installation should begin. First, the planned solution should be clearly depicted in the drawings. Then, start laying and drilling. Use stainless steel expansion bolts to embed the specialized composite panel studs into the wall surface. Ensure a secure and stable connection, with a spacing of approximately 60cm between the studs. Next, use angle screws to fix the solid studs to the specialized studs. Finally, place the composite panel on top of the solid studs and ensure it is securely fastened.
4. The above steps have completed the basic setup. The next step is to place the second piece of ecological board into the recess of the first exterior wall board. The connection between the first and second pieces is sealed with weatherproof adhesive. Then, use 35x45 edge trim to seal the corners of the wallboard, and fill the hollow space with wooden blocks to strengthen the ecological board. Finally, clean the surface of the wallboard to complete the renovation process.
II. Installation Precautions for Eco-Board
1、The eco-board should be dried in a shaded outdoor area, maintaining a humidity level similar to the surrounding environment before proceeding with subsequent construction operations.
2、Ecological boards should not be placed directly in sunlight, as this can quickly lead to moisture loss from the interior.
3. If further processing is required, apply a suitable anti-corrosion agent to ensure a longer service life for this type of eco-board.
4. When connecting eco-board, it is essential to use specialized components. Avoid using metal parts, as they are prone to rust due to moisture exposure.
5. During construction, the manufacturer needs to closely monitor the moisture content of the eco-board, as this directly affects its performance. For example, if the moisture content is not properly controlled, excessive moisture can lead to cracking and deformation after installation.
