Laminated timber, also known as finger-jointed timber, finger-jointed material, or composite panel, is typically made from fast-growing wood species. Common materials for solid wood laminated timber include: Sitka spruce, Sitka pine, Hinoki cypress, camphor pine, white pine, red pine, elm, hardwood, maple, and beech. Laminated timber does not alter the structure or characteristics of the wood, while still retaining the natural feel of wood.

Solid wood composite materials are manufactured by joining narrow, short pieces of wood together using adhesives. Some wood composite materials also utilize a notched connection process, where the wood pieces are cut with interlocking teeth and then assembled horizontally, with sanding performed on the top and bottom surfaces. The manufacturing process for solid wood composite materials is similar to that of solid wood wide-ply boards, but due to the smaller dimensions of the wood pieces, there are more connections in the lengthwise direction. These materials are created by joining small, processed solid wood pieces together, similar to "fingers," using a notched interface, resembling the interlocking of fingers. Because the original wood pieces are interconnected, this construction inherently has some bonding strength, and because the surfaces do not require additional adhesive application, the amount of adhesive used is minimal.

The teeth should be created on the small pieces, and then glue should be applied to the tooth and side surfaces, and finally fixed by machine pressing. This product does not crack or deform, and has a beautiful appearance, making it the best environmentally friendly product for furniture making.
2、Laminated Softwood: The primary advantage of laminated softwood is its high degree of dimensional flexibility, allowing for the creation of beams with specific spans and cross-sectional shapes. Laminated softwood is also easily treated with preservatives to protect against rot, decay, and insects, with excellent results. Furthermore, the use of dry lumber prevents warping and cracking during use.
