GB Classification of Combustibility of Building Materials and Products.

GB/T 5464 Method for Testing the Fire Resistance of Building Materials.

GB/T 11785 Test for Combustibility of Flooring Materials, Radiant Heat Source Method.

GB/T 14402 Determination of Combustibility and Heat of Combustion of Construction Materials and Products.

GB/T 8626 Method for Determining the Combustibility of Building Materials.

What are the installation specifications for fire-resistant boards?

1、When installing fireproof board, the material must reach room temperature and maintain a stable temperature. The material should not be installed in locations where the temperature differs significantly from the normal use environment.

2. Fire-resistant boards are designed for installation in general use spaces with temperatures ranging from 15°C to 30°C and relative humidity not exceeding 70%. All gypsum, cement, or other moisture-sensitive materials must be stored properly.

3. Before installation, or once complete, the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system should be fully installed and operational to maintain normal temperatures.

III. Fire-Resistant Board Installation Acceptance Standards

(1) Visual Quality Inspection

Common Defects: 1. Obvious moisture and dryness defects are not allowed; the area of minor moisture and dryness defects shall not exceed 1% of the surface; 2. The surface shall not have stains; 3. No indentations are allowed; 4. Up to three lines of linear indentations with a length less than 20mm and a width less than 0.2mm are allowed, provided they are not dense; 5. No damage to the decorative layer is allowed.

Serious Defects: No significant defects that affect appearance and usability, such as bubbles, cracks, or layering, are allowed. Note: Defects that are clearly visible at a viewing distance of 1.5 meters during visual inspection are considered significant; otherwise, they are not considered significant.

(2) Testing Methods

Visual Inspection: Under standard lighting and visibility conditions, visually inspect the appearance quality of high-pressure decorative panels by wiping away all removable stains with a soft cloth. Perform inspection at a visibility range of 0.5m to 1.5m and a viewing angle of 30° to 90° to assess the appearance quality. The inspection area should have natural light that does not affect the inspector's vision. Inspectors should have normal vision. Note: The term "dense" refers to the requirement that defects per square meter should not be concentrated within any area of 10cm x 10cm on the panel surface.

(iii) Inspection Rules

1. Fire-resistant board packaging should include a certificate of conformity, which should specify: manufacturer name, product specifications and dimensions, model number and trademark, quantity, date of manufacture, and inspector's code.

2. Packaging: Can be packaged using paper, cardboard, or other materials to prevent damage. The packaging box includes a packing list.

3、Transportation: Fireproof boards must be kept clean during transportation. They should be handled with care to avoid damage.

4. Storage: Should be stored in a well-ventilated and dry indoor environment, and avoid exposing the substrate surface to water and moisture.
