One, What cutting tools are used for particleboard?
1、Can be applied with a straight blade:The specific thickness depends on the thickness of the material being cut. Generally, 1.8mm and 1.5mm thick materials require a 6mm blade, while 1.2mm to 0.7mm thick materials require a 4mm blade. For materials less than 0.7mm thick, a 0.3mm blade is sufficient. However, the ideal blade thickness also depends on the complexity of the cut pattern. More intricate designs often benefit from using finer blades.
2、Wood Carving Machine:The models of the engraving machines are customized according to customer requirements. They can be used in industries such as woodworking, advertising signage, furniture manufacturing, toy and gift production, interior design, and PCB manufacturing.

3、Laser cutting machine:A laser cutting machine uses a laser beam emitted from a laser, which is focused through an optical system to create a high-power, dense laser beam. When the laser beam is directed onto the workpiece, it heats the workpiece to its melting or boiling point, while high-pressure gas, coaxial with the beam, blows away the molten or vaporized metal. As the laser beam and workpiece move relative to each other, a cut is formed, thereby achieving the cutting purpose. It is one of the most commonly used cutting tools for sheet materials.
Two. Methods and techniques for cutting particleboard
1、Set the power to 65%—70%
Laser cutting machine cutting 3mm density board does not necessarily require a large power setting. Increasing the power setting means increasing the cutting speed and improving efficiency. Therefore, to achieve good results and efficiency when cutting density board, we typically set the power slightly higher.
2、Set the speed to 25mm/s
Through a series of tests, it was found that a cutting speed of 27mm/s is the critical speed for cutting particleboard with a 80-watt laser tube. Therefore, to ensure that the entire graphic is cut through in a single pass, the speed should be slightly reduced.
3、When cutting, use a strong blast of air.
Density board, being a man-made board material made from plant fibers and wood, often contains impurities and tends to produce smoke and darken the edges during cutting. Therefore, to ensure clean edges, it is necessary to use a strong air blast to remove the smoke and dust.
