One. Does the facing panel require painting?
Whether to paint the surface of the decorative panel is entirely up to your personal preference.
If you plan to apply paint, it is best to hire a professional painter. If you prefer a lighter color, simply apply a clear coat with a touch of color, which will achieve a more natural and environmentally friendly finish. For darker colors, multiple coats are required, and the painting process is quite complex. Typically, several coats are needed, with each darker coat requiring additional sanding and preparation before the next coat is applied. This process is best left to experienced professionals.

Two. How to paint the decorative panel.
Step 1: Sanding. The order for sanding flat surfaces is first horizontally, then vertically. When sanding, first apply and then remove, and first sand the outer edges and then the inner areas. The selection of sandpaper should be coarse first, then fine.
Step 2: After grinding, inspect the surface of the decorative panel for any unevenness. If present, use putty to level the surface and then grind again until smooth.
Step 3: Mix the can of paint thoroughly using a small stick. Avoid stirring too quickly by hand to prevent splashing and contamination of the floor.
Step 4: Use a brush to spread the paint evenly, applying it in a continuous stroke rather than in separate sections. The paint layer should not be too thin or too thick. If too thin, it may create water ripple effects or cause the paint to clump together.
Step 5: After applying the first coat, allow it to dry for two to three hours. Use your finger to gently touch the painted surface; it should feel dry and non-sticky. Apply the second coat. After applying the second coat, allow it to dry completely. Then, use very fine sandpaper dampened with water to lightly sand the surface to remove any water marks and imperfections.
Step six: Finally, apply a coat of clear finish as a protective layer on the surface of the decorative panel using a brush.
